I believe that people’s actions
can make it clear when they have
no respect or regard for you
no matter what their lips say.
Words can be polished.
Promises can be rehearsed.
Affection can be performed.
But actions?
Actions don’t lie.
When someone truly values you,
it shows in consistency.
It shows in effort.
It shows in the way they protect your heart
instead of playing with it.
And when they don’t value you,
that shows too.
It shows in neglect.
It shows in disregard.
It shows in the way they disappear
when you need them most.
So when you notice this,
take it for what it is.
Don’t excuse it.
Don’t explain it away.
Don’t let their words
convince you to ignore their behavior.
Because actions speak louder than words.
And the truth is always louder
than the performance.
You deserve people
whose actions match their words,
whose presence matches their promises,
whose love is proven,
not just spoken.
Scripture
“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech
but with actions and in truth.”
1 John 3:18
Message
Trust what you see, not just what you hear
God will surround you with people
whose actions honor your worth.
