Some people don’t want resolution.
They want control.
That’s why conversations go in circles.
That’s why accountability never arrives.
Because the point was never healing,
never clarity,
never peace.
The point was power.
The point was manipulation.
The point was keeping you tangled
in a web of confusion
so you’d question yourself
instead of questioning them.
Resolution requires honesty.
Resolution requires humility.
Resolution requires the courage to say,
“I was wrong. I hurt you. I need to change.”
But control?
Control avoids responsibility.
Control twists the narrative.
Control makes you the problem
so they never have to face themselves.
And once you see it,
you can’t unsee it.
You start to recognize the patterns,
the deflections,
the endless circles that never lead anywhere.
That’s when you learn:
you don’t have to keep spinning with them.
You don’t have to stay trapped
in conversations that only drain you.
You don’t have to accept control
in place of resolution.
You can step out of the circle.
You can reclaim your peace.
You can choose clarity over chaos,
truth over manipulation,
freedom over control.
And that choice
that moment of walking away from the cycle
is where accountability finally begins.
Not theirs, but yours.
Your accountability to your own soul.
Your accountability to protect your spirit.
Your accountability to honor the truth
even when they refuse to.
Scripture
“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.”
1 Corinthians 14:33
Message
You don’t need circles to find closure
you need courage to step out of them,
and God will meet you in the peace that follows.
