A hard year does not mean a Godless year.
Pain does not mean abandonment.
Silence does not mean absence.
Even when you felt like you were falling,
He was holding you.

Through the nights you cried,
through the days you questioned,
through the moments you wondered
if you would ever make it out
He was there.

You may not have seen Him,
but He was in the strength
that carried you through.
You may not have heard Him,
but He was in the peace
that kept you from breaking.
You may not have felt Him,
but He was in the breath
that never left your body.

A hard year is not proof of His distance.
It is proof of His sustaining power.
Because if you’re still here,
still breathing,
still standing,
still hoping,
then He never let go.

And sometimes,
the hardest seasons
are the ones that reveal
just how faithful He really is.

Scripture

“Even to your old age and gray hairs
I am He, I am He who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you.”

Isaiah 46:4

Message

A hard year may have shaken you,
but God’s hand never released you
and His presence will carry you
into the next season with strength.
