A time will come in your life
where some people will regret
why they mistreated you.
They will look back and realize
what they lost,
what they broke,
what they took for granted.
They will remember your kindness
and feel the weight of their cruelty.
They will replay the moments
where you showed up with sincerity
while they responded with disrespect.
They will see the difference
between your loyalty
and their carelessness.
And trust me,
that time will certainly come.
Because truth has a way
of revealing itself,
and character has a way
of exposing what words try to hide.
People who mistreat good hearts
always learn too late
that not everyone is replaceable.
Your absence will teach them
what your presence once gave freely.
And the regret they feel
will be the consequence
of the choices they made
when they thought
you would always stay.
Scripture
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
and every tongue that rises against you in judgment
you shall condemn.”
Isaiah 54:17
Message
Your worth will speak for itself
long after their actions fade.
Stand firm in who you are
time has a way of revealing
what people refused to see.
