I’m teaching my kids to be kind to everyone.
Not just polite,
not just friendly when it’s convenient,
but truly kind.
Because kindness is more than a smile
it’s the choice not to be the reason
someone skips a meal,
hates waking up,
or feels left out.
It’s the awareness that your words
can either build or break.
That your actions
can either heal or harm.
That what you do today
can echo in someone’s heart
for the rest of their life.
I want my kids to know
that kindness is not weakness.
It’s strength.
It’s courage.
It’s the quiet power
to make someone feel seen,
valued,
and safe in a world
that often overlooks them.
Because people may forget what you said,
but they will never forget
how you made them feel.
And the way you treat others
becomes part of the legacy you leave behind.
So I remind them:
your words and actions
stick with people forever.
Choose wisely.
Choose love.
Choose kindness.
Scripture
“Be kind and compassionate to one another,
forgiving each other,
just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32
Soothing Message
Kindness costs nothing,
but it leaves behind treasures
that last forever in someone’s heart.
