David was betrayed by people he trusted
family, friends, leaders,
even those he risked his life for.
He was lied on, hunted, abandoned, and misunderstood.
But every betrayal pushed him closer to the throne God promised.
Every wound became a doorway.
Every disappointment became direction.
Every attack became acceleration.

Sometimes the ones who wound you
are the very ones God uses to redirect you.
Not because they were bad for you,
but because God is sovereign.
He knows how to turn betrayal into blessing,
pain into purpose,
and rejection into redirection.

David didn’t become king because people supported him
he became king because God chose him.
And no betrayal could cancel what God ordained.

If David survived betrayal and still became king,
so will you.
What was meant to break you
will build you.
What was meant to stop you
will strengthen you.
What was meant to destroy you
will develop you.

You are not going backward
you are being positioned.
You are not being punished
you are being prepared.
God is not finished with you
He is just getting started.

“Even my close friend, someone I trusted,
one who shared my bread, has turned against me.”

Psalm 41:9

“The Lord is close to the broken-hearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Psalm 34:18

“You intended to harm me,
but God intended it for good.”

Genesis 50:20
