I tell no lies, because truth lives in me.
I am the same in the sunlight as I am in the darkness.
Day or night, my heart does not change.
My love does not shift with moods, seasons, or circumstances.
I love deeply, not because it is easy,
but because God placed a well inside me that never runs dry.
I forgive, not because people always deserve it,
but because God forgave me first.
I release what hurts me so I can hold onto what heals me.
I choose mercy even when my heart is bruised.
I choose grace even when my trust has been shaken.
I choose love even when it is not returned.
I love without needing anything back.
I give without expecting applause, recognition, or reward.
I pour out because God pours into me.
I show up because He strengthens me.
I stay kind because He stayed kind to me.
People may misunderstand me.
They may misjudge my intentions,
question my motives,
or take advantage of my softness.
But God sees me.
God knows me.
God understands the parts of me that words cannot explain.
So I say:
God, thank You for being the only One
who truly knows my heart
when the world misjudges me.
You see the purity behind my actions.
You see the sincerity behind my love.
You see the loyalty behind my silence.
You see the tears I never speak of.
You see the battles I fight quietly.
You see the goodness I try to protect in a world that doesn’t always value it.
